Retirees Association

The UCR Retirees' Association (UCRRA) fosters opportunities for continuing relationships for retirees and the University community including involvement in campus activities, volunteer work, and part-time employment. The UCRRA also informs and assist members about the benefits available to them, especially UCRP and medical benefits.  It maintains an advocacy for those benefits via its participation with the Council of University of California Retirees’ Association (CUCRA).

Membership in the UCRRA is open to all UCR and UC staff and non-Senate academics, including librarians, research associates, and lecturers.

In efforts to increase programs, services and events, membership dues will increase on July 1, 2020. A lifetime membership is $250.  An annual membership is $25, and first-year retirees can choose to receive their first year for free. However, a free membership has limited benefits.

The Association maintains a substantial scholarship endowment fund from which at least one annual scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student.

The Association also sponsors other gatherings, outings, and yearly events as may be of interest to the members.

Please consider joining, even if you live out of the Riverside area, and help support the UCRRA.
