Meet Cristina Otegui, newly appointed UCR Retirement Center Director.
Cristina is a native to the Inland Empire and has worked for the past 6 ½ years as a Career Counselor in UCR’s Career Center. Part of her role has been chairing professional development committees. She has also worked with UCR’s undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Cristina's experience will be invaluable working with and coordinating the activities of the UCRRA and UCREA.
Cristina has a passion to serve and is looking forward to engaging with retirees and emeriti. Cristina's new role began on December 2nd. She shares, “I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to serve as the Director for the Retirement Center and working with Retirees and Emeriti who have made a tremendous impact on our campus community. I want to help them to continue to make an impact”.
