Staff Assembly Mary Johnson Outstanding Retiree Award

The UCR Retirees’ Association (UCRRA) is honored to work with the UCR Staff Assembly to award the Mary Johnson Outstanding Retiree Award. Each year, this award will be given to those retired staff who have demonstrated a high level of volunteer service to the campus and surrounding communities and participation in campus activities/programs during retirement.

Eligibility

Eligibility extends to UCR retired staff who are members of the UCR Retirees’ Association.

Selection Process

• Nominations, including self-nominations, along with a letter of support should be sent to the Director of the UCR Retirement Center at mailto:cristina.otegui@ucr.edu by May 20 annually for consideration by the UCRRA Executive Board.
• Executive Board Members of the Staff Assembly and the UCR Retirees’ Association and Retirement Center Director will review applications and determine a winner.

Award Announcement/Presentation

The Award Recipient(s) will be announced at the Outstanding Staff and Retiree Awards Ceremony.
